Making increases in knitting

Step 1
Insert the right needle into the first stitch as if to knit.

Step 2
Knit the stitch, but don't drop it from the left needle.

Step 3
Insert the right needle into the back loop of the same stitch.

Step 4
Knit it, and then drop both stitches from the left needle.

Step 5
Repeat the process as many times as needed.
